Original pond was built by
Delta College in 1978. Was leaking 6,000
gallons each day!

Contained 65 fish who were
sick and had parasites due to overcrowding and poor water
quality.
-
Removed inches of scum and
debris from pond bottom.

Repaired cracked, leaking
concrete walls and covered with paint-on rubber liner.
-
Replaced old inefficient 5
horsepower pump with 3/4 horsepower pump and built new pump
vault.
-
Installed return jets to
improve circulation and hid them under concrete layer.

Built waterfall and
new brick edges for pond wall.

Installed UV lights.
